The Childrens' Bike Playground and Traffic Garden is built to include smooth, flowy trails with gentle berms and fun features designed to build confidence and introduce bicycle control over features and through corners.
The Traffic Garden also helps kids learn the rules of the road, such as how to stay on the right side of the painted center lines on roads, how to follow traffic arrows through a roundabout and arrows painted on bike paths, plus how to navigate a parking lot and 4-way stop.
This area is ideal for learning balance, rhythm, and basic bike control before progressing to larger features. From strider bikes to training wheels and beginning to ride without training wheels - kids of all ages can enjoy this bicycle playground.
RISK NOTICE:
For riders developing fundamental control and confidence. Consistent braking and cornering skills are recommended before riding. Some features require momentum and strong pedaling to get up and over, so remind kids they can ride around these features as needed while building their confidence.
REMINDER TO ADULTS AND PEDESTRIANS:
Children on bicycles have right of way. Pedestrians should stay off bike paths and "roadways".
